Job Description
Mealjunction is an online platform for ordering food from local Foodjoints for pickup or delivery across India and US. We are looking for smart people to handle our operations.
The marketing and order management staff is responsible for handling orders placed by customers and communicate order details to merchants. Clarify the customer's complaints and issues; determining the cause of the problems and resolve issues; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
The job responsibilities include:
• Monitor incoming orders from customers on a continuous basis
• Review order details in the system
• Call and Communicate order details to merchants
• Confirm orders from the merchants on behalf of our and update the system with order confirmation
• Review or make changes to customer orders based on inputs from customers
• Handle order issues or complaints
• Record details of customer contacts and actions taken
• Research answers or arrive at solutions as needed
• Refer customers to supervisors, managers, or others who can help
• Update merchant information in the system
• Order cancellation in adverse situations as needed
• Report order cancellation to management
